Jaclyn Gorman is a mom and wife living in the Cleveland area. A a mother of two toddlers and a full-time mental health therapist, Jaclyn fully understands the challenges parenting in the early years. With 10 years of experience as a Special Educator in urban public schools, she has spent countless hours teaching school-aged children life skills, emotional-regulation techniques, and study skills.
Jaclyn brings all of her experiences and knowledge, personal and professional, to her work at Spare the Rod Parenting to provide you with a one stop shop for practical and nonjudgemental support to help you bring your parenting vision to life.
Jaclyn is a nationally certified counselor, licensed Special Educator, certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and certified parent coach. She has Master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (University of Northern Colorado) and Curriculum and Instruction (University of Colorado-Denver).
